Starting with its founder Bob Rice, our senior team is built of professionals with decades of experience as operators, bankers, and technologists in our target markets.
Thomas Morgan
Chief Operating Officer
Tom has over 25 years experience in the financial, marketing and technology industries and manages the firm's Fund Services group providing brand marketing, strategic consulting, and other services to the alternative investment industry.
Prior to joining Tangent, Tom was part of the senior management of Tremont Realty Capital, a Boston-based commercial real estate investment and advisory firm providing direct debt and equity investments and institutional advisory services. Tom remains on the management team at Tremont as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In addition, he has senior executive level experience with several private and public companies in the marketing and technology sectors. Tom also has significant experience as a practicing attorney in real estate, corporate finance and business law and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and a JD degree from Boston College School of Law.
